I designed my first website with $350My upwork profile is still there.
2020 - Got broke and wanted to relocate from Romania to the UK for a full-time UX/UI Designer job.
They offered me £3.5k/moI still remember the excitement of paying for the flight tickets at Wizz Air & Airbnb.
Then I calculated the rent & food costs and realized that I only earned £1k
- This being too far away from my wife and child
- Seeing them 1 time per monthThis is not life.
That moment was: "I don't go anywhere even if I paid for a flight & Airbnb."(THANKS GOD FOR THIS 🙏 )
I decided to self-promote aggressively and stay consistent daily, and...IT WORKED!
